ROLLATOR….4wheel ( with cable brakes. )
Having researched the internet for suppliers of “walking aids”, I came across PRIMA CARE, of Capetown, who responded by sending me their complete brochure, covering many aspects of the services that they provide.
For months my wife had relied wholly on her walking stick and eventually agreed to try out a “rollator”.{walker}.
After detailed discussions with one of the directors of PRIMA CARE, I decided to proceed and within 4 days of placing the order, the unit was delivered, to my front door, in Umhlanga Rocks, Durban, KZN.
On opening the box, I noticed that a wheel nut was missing and immediately telephoned the supplier, who, although very disappointed by the problem, said that he would send me another one.
Within a very short while, the delivery courier was again at my front door, not with a replacement wheel nut, but with another ROLLATOR!!!!!
Complete in every respect!!
The Rollator has 4 large wheels, two of which are controlled by cable type brakes; has a seat, on which one can rest when required and below which is a carrying basket for odds and ends.
The result is that my wife has already gained in confidence and is already able to walk more easily; able to sit and rest when she wishes and able to carry light objects .
Not only is the ROLLATOR an excellent unit but the service and attention displayed by their director is outstanding.
I heartily recommend anybody to contact them before deciding on purchasing any of Prima Care’s range of products.
I have voluntarily written this review of my experience, as I have been so impressed by this transaction believe prospective buyers should ,at very least, give PrimaCare a call.
