Ian Fraser –
The Samsoft 175 person hoist has been a godsend to us. My wife is unable to stand alone and so has been confined to bed. The Samsoft 175 hoist has enabled her to transfer from bed to wheelchair, or other chair, safely and effortlessly. It is very easy to operate requiring very little effort on the part of the operator. The most important factor is to get the sling or cradle in the correct position and then it is a simple matter to get the patient upright and transferred. It helps to have 2 people to operate, just to steady the patient, but that is not necessary. I am 79 and manage, on my own, to transfer my wife between the chair and bed easily, quickly and safely with no discomfort to her. Thanks to the Samsoft 175 she is once again able to enjoy sitting up, joins family and friends at table and generally have some life back, which was lost when she had to remain in bed. Simply being upright has made a big difference to her physical and mental well-being. I might add that the service from Prima Care has been very helpful from sales, admin and delivery people.
