The big brother of the AKS L5 home care bed (K4), with all the same features, the most obvious difference is the more aesthetically pleasing head & footboard design and as well as the slightly more robust structural properties. Taking home care to a luxurious level, the K4 bed now also includes Trendelenberg functionalities as well as a back-up battery!

K4 Electric Home Care Bed – What to do during load shedding ?
No need to worry, the bed is equipped with a back up battery for these type of situations. The back up battery allows for control over the bed even when there is no power being supplied to it from the mains.

The bed and mattress are of a very high standard and quality and extremely comfortable, as well as safe and ideal for the frail and elderly.
Without the bed it would not have been possible to look after Kevin at home, now I have our own Frail Care at home, with the help of a Nursing Aid.
The over bed table is so useful and very well made and is used a lot.
You were true to your word and couriered everything from Cape Town to Johannesburg and everything arrived safely.

On returning home after my decompression and spinal fusion operation I was delighted to see my family had hired an ultra-modern self- operated hospital bed for me. I had expected an old-fashioned hospital bed which could only be raised and lowered by someone else turning a handle! The bed I have has so many positions at the push of a button that all it can’t do is fly. It is so comfy and best of all I can do all the manoeuvres myself.
I can raise it to look out of the window into the garden, raise the head of the bed to look at TV and raise the head and back section of the bed so that I can eat more easily while still maintaining a flat back. It is far more comfy than my hospital bed and the prospect of lying on this bed flat on my back for 6 or more weeks is not so daunting.
One final thought; the service we received from Prima+Care was outstanding, from the delivery of the bed and its installation to the prompt, efficient, and friendly service we had from the staff.
